take a chance
I'm an optimistic person - but I'm also a tragic person. These two facts of my character often clash. But when it comes to optimism, it's for others. The tragedy is saved for me. That's the kind of person I am.
I endorse the good but live the bad. But it's not all bad. Tragedy blooms into different flowers and they often bring along a different scent into my life. So it's all for the better - I've learned to acknowledge that.
There comes a time in everyone's life where they have to take a major risk - something that will affect their future. It's a heavy thing, it's an anxious thing, but we all go through it. And whatever happens - it's all for the better. That's a constant reminder for me firstly, and to you if you're reading this as well.
The chances you take aren't regrets, they're courageous. So if you're struggling in doing something and you're the only person holding yourself back - let go. Maybe it's all for the better. Maybe, just maybe, you'll get a taste of the optimism everyone's been talking about.
And if not - you now have something to grow from.
A thought on a mundane evening commute back home.
